Chief Operating Officer – UAE

Maamoun Al Ghussein is Taqeef’s Chief Operating Officer for the United Arab Emirates, reporting to CEO Tariq Al Ghussein. Maamoun oversees all commercial operations in the UAE and is responsible for implementing the world-class operational controls, administrative procedures, and people systems which support the company’s continual growth and improvement.

Maamoun has over thirty years of corporate management experience in the Region. He joined Taqeef in 1983 as an accountant, and worked in a number of functions – including sales and finance – before being named General Manager in 2001. His strategic insights into the business and the region make him ideally positioned to lead the company through its next phase of growth and development.

Maamoun holds a Bachelors Degree of Business Administration from Ain Shams University in Egypt.
