SUZANNE BACHA

Chief People & Capability Officer

Suzanne Bacha is Taqeef’s Chief People & Capability Officer, reporting to CEO Tariq Al Ghussein.  She is responsible for the ongoing development and execution of Taqeef’s HR, admin and IT strategies as well as organisational and business capability. This includes continuous improvement, change management, talent and performance, and capability planning and process.

Suzanne joined Taqeef in March 2016 with a mandate to develop and implement a programme of transformational change to reflect the company’s significant growth and scale.  This included restructuring the company’s human resources and support services functions (HR, Administration and IT) to better resource the changing business.   She has been instrumental in driving organisational change and scaling service offerings.

Prior to this, Suzanne worked for over twenty years in the banking sector, holding senior positions in Deutsche Bank (Head of Internal Audit) and Bank Audi (Group HR Director).  She relocated to the UAE in 2008, and has worked for many of the region’s most prominent organisations, sitting on Executive Committees in a senior HR leadership capacity. She has a wealth of strategic experience in leading HR and Administration functions (regionally and globally), and delivering organisational restructures and departmental mergers.

Suzanne holds a BA in Banking Economy and Operations.
