Sales Engineer – Abu Dhabi

The Role

The role will involve using appropriate sales techniques to close, retain and grow profitable business that achieves/exceeds revenue goals and directly supports the Company’s business plan . This includes delivering the required customer experience by developing and maintaining professional relationships that inspire trust and loyalty in the Taqeef business. This role requires previous experience in Abu Dhabi market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and maintain relevant knowledge of HVAC industry and market trends such as competitors, economic trends, trade customs, etc.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with key customers in Abu Dhabi.
• Address key accounts/customers inquiries and ensure customer needs are met on time.
• Use effective sales techniques to negotiate and close profitable new business.
• Achieve sales booking, invoicing and margin target.
• Review inquiries and guide sales operations team for quotations and submittals preparations.
• Follow up on the payments with customers and ensure timely collection.
• Follow up on existing projects and coordinate with relevant departments on project completion.
• Complete standardized sales ad-hoc reports.

Qualifications, Experience, Knowledge & Skills

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering
• Excellent communications English and Arabic skills both written and verbal.
• Minimum of 3-4 years of field sales experience within the HVAC industry. Abu Dhabi market experience is a must.
• Excellent negotiation and customer management skills.
• Good financial acumen, strong commercial awareness and presentation to an audience.
• Understanding of Building Regulations, LEED, ASHRAE, etc.
• MS Office: Intermediate – Advanced (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook) and Sales CRM tools.
• Valid UAE driving license.
